3D Modeling

EDS offers comprehensive 3D modeling, including individual parts and assemblies. EDS also has the capability to model facilities, piping, electrical components, and structural components. The preferred modeling software is Solidworks, however, EDS holds licenses to various other modeling software's as well.

Solidworks Modeling

EDS is capable of modeling individual parts and complex assemblies. Complex assemblies can be modeled and checked for tolerance requirements before production. Additionally, motion studies may be performed to determine any potential contact areas.

Solidworks is used for projects that require basic finite element analysis (FEA), while Abaqus is used in more complex modeling situations.

Photorealistic Rendering

While a 3D model is impressive, a photo rendering of said model can be even more impactful. EDS combines their in-house modeling capabilities with photorendering software to create amazing results for their clients.
