Water Park Condition Assessment
Project Overview
Engineering Design Services provided comprehensive structural inspection and condition assessment services for a large-scale water attraction facility. The project focused on evaluating the condition of rockwork features, attraction support structures, foundations, steel framing systems, and associated infrastructure throughout the park. The objective was to identify areas requiring maintenance or repair, assess structural integrity, and develop prioritized recommendations to support long-term safety, reliability, and operational performance.

• Develop repair matrices identifying deficiencies, recommended corrective actions, and repair prioritization
• Prepare comprehensive condition survey reports with supporting photographs and inspection findings
Solution
Engineering Design Services conducted a facility-wide structural assessment utilizing both ground-based and aerial inspection methodologies to access and evaluate critical infrastructure. The inspection program focused on identifying structural deterioration, corrosion, erosion, settlement concerns, and potential maintenance requirements affecting both themed environments and attraction support systems.
The EDS team collected extensive field data and photographic documentation to support engineering evaluations and developed prioritized repair recommendations based on observed conditions. The resulting assessment reports provided facility stakeholders with a clear roadmap for maintenance planning, capital improvements, and long-term asset management.
