A Day That Made a Difference

Every company has moments that truly stand out.

At Engineering Design Services (EDS), innovation is at the heart of what we do, but it's moments of genuine human connection that remind us why our work matters. Our team was honored to participate in a special Make-A-Wish event hosted by Valero. Our Marketing Manager, Shaun Cavanaugh, had the opportunity to represent EDS and share a day filled with excitement, curiosity, and inspiration.

For this event, EDS brought a collection of 3D-printed materials and several pieces of our advanced technology, including some of the drones our engineers use during site assessments and capturing data for projects. The Wish Kid had the chance to get hands-on with the equipment, learning how engineers use tools like drones and modeling technology to solve real-world challenges. The highlight of the day came when he took control of one of our drones, lighting up with excitement as he experienced engineering from a brand-new perspective. It was a moment our team soon won't forget.

Events like this go far beyond community involvement; they reinforce our mission to use engineering to positively impact people. For Shaun and the entire EDS team, the day served as a powerful reminder that even small moments can make a huge difference.
