Scope

• Conduct visual risk-based condition assessments of industrial assets
• Inspect equipment including frames, platforms, tanks, vessels, piping systems, PSM components, and FRP assets
• Capture field documentation through photographs and video recordings
• Utilize drone-based surveys where needed for hard-to-access areas
• Annotate client-provided drawings with identified damage locations and mechanisms
• Perform laser scanning and manual verification for dimensional accuracy
• Develop repair recommendations and condition-based assessments
• Prepare as-built plans and elevation drawings for restoration planning

Solution

Engineering Design Services implemented a structured risk-based inspection methodology combining visual assessments, drone data collection, and laser scanning to accurately evaluate asset condition. Engineering teams documented corrosion and degradation, mapped findings onto existing drawings, and developed precise repair recommendations.
