Risk-Based Assessment Projects
Project Overview
Engineering Design Services completed various projects, providing comprehensive visual risk-based condition assessments and developed repair plans for critical equipment components. These projects involved conducting detailed visual inspections to assess the condition of the equipment. During the field work, our team captured photographs and videos to document their findings of corrosion and other forms of damage. When needed, our team utilized drones to capture data. Client-provided drawings were annotated to indicate damage mechanisms and locations, while laser scanning and manual verification ensured precise measurements for the recommended repairs. EDS then prepared as-built plans and elevation drawings for key components requiring restoration. Asset types include: deteriorated machine frames, personnel platforms, API 650 atmospheric storage tanks, ASME Section VIII Div. I pressure vessels, piping systems, PSM components, and FRP assets.
Key Achievements
-
Infrastructure Longevity: Enables the client to identify issues early for timely maintenance.
-
