Thermal Screw Capital Installation

Project Overview

EDS provided engineering services for the installation of a new thermal screw conveyor at a local plant in Arkansas. After laser scanning 3D models were created of the new screw conveyor and the associated equipment to determine equipment layouts and to avoid performing analysis with the existing equipment and structures. After a structural analysis of the existing platform and sub-structures were performed, a general arrangement equipment drawing, detailed piping drawings, and P&ID were generated for the installation of the thermal screw conveyance system and new equipment.
